48 goals in all comps for Aubameyang & Lacazette this season.
Imagine how many they would have if Emery played them together all-season.

Kinda bummed to not see more youngsters playing today.

Mustafi, Elneny, Iwobi, and Miki all starting lol. This could be interesting.

Just think, Auba coverts that PK v Spuds and we beat Brighton last week. Sigh.

So many wasted opportunities this season. Still ahead of schedule in my book. It’s been a rebuilding year and very easy to lose sight of that.

We beat Brighton last week and we are T3 in the league. That hurts. I won’t dwell on that. As we will beat Chelsea anyway and get back to the CL.

Interesting match today, it was enjoyable football to watch for the most part. I thought everyone did fairly well—nobody stuck out as weak links, even Mustafi. Gouendouzi was brilliant, Leno was outstanding. Iwobi and Miki has their usual moments of brilliance and then moments of complete idiocy.

All in all I actually enjoyed the (meaningless) match, and its 3 away points. A good day, all the while avoiding injury.

So if you believe the Mr. Ornstein from the BBC, the summer budget will be 40 million if in EL, “significantly more” if we win the EL and make it in to the CL.

A win against Chelsea needs to happen, because 40 million is nowhere near enough. In my opinion, there’s 5 positions that need to be addressed.

I never understood why clubs put their transfer budgets out there.

40 mil is a setup for failure if you’re Emery. There’s no way you can close the gap on City/Pool and United/Chelsea (if ban is reduced) are going to spend big this summer. Who knows about Spurs but I think they’ll add Sessegnon.

I have a feeling the ownership has no intention of closing that gap. I’d loved to be proven wrong though.

you have to understand, the goal isn't winning, the goal is to never be in the red.

I mean, there’s so much money coming into Top PL sides that turning a profit should be pretty easy these days.
