Ugh, 48 teams. They learned nothing from the ****fest that was the 2016 Euro Cup.

Eh, I'd be fine if Morocco got it.

Yes because actually going to a game or two would be nice.

That too. Really hoping DC or Philly would get selected as a host site.

Manuel Lanzini out of the WC with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in training. Blow to Argentina and West Ham.

I’d put everything I have on at least two of Philly/DC/Baltimore hosting games. Possibly even all three.

Re: World Cup 2018

Excitement was a little low with the US knocked out, but as it draws nearer I'm definitely getting pumped! Now I just need to decide on a team to root for.

What's the protocol on wearing national team jerseys of a country that we're not from? The white Germany kits are sooo nice.

No OS World Cup fantasy this time?

Looks like we are doing a WC fantasy, check the TOGGA fantasy PL thread.

I'd imagine we will get that up and going next week

Your last question first, it's buried in the other Fantasy thread, so here's the link:https://fantasy.fifa.com/en/leagues?...47464A4E4F3632

Second, feel free to wear any kit you find fresh and to your tastes, and if someone tries to call you out, feel free to ignore them.

Always be excited for the World Cup, it's a fun event and it's a great way to introduce people to the sport, even without the US. The regulars here don't need to be told but in everyday life, I love pumping people's excitement for it. I know some people here on OS make their living complaining about everything, but getting more people to watch is always on my list of things to do. Enjoy the World Cup, wear what every kit you want, support whatever country you want, have a damn good time doing it.
