At 20% race length, how long does a race typically take you to complete?

And what tire/fuel wear are you using (standard or one of the accellerated) and how is that doing for need for pit stops?

Unless I am missing something (or my math is off), it would seem that if you were running 20% and did x4 tire wear, that would nearly equate to a normal race because you are running about 1/4 of the race (actually 1/5), but your tires and fuel is running out 4 times faster. So, at Daytona, if they typically run 50 laps on fuel/tire run, I assume that a 4x wear would mean that the fuel/tire run would be 12.5 laps. If you ran a 20% race (which would be 40 laps for the 500), you would have 3-4 stops. Is that how it is supposed to work? And does it?[

Well I ran a 30 percent race at Cali which took about 25 minutes. I did 3 pit stops and there were 2 yellow flags during the race. If I recall I had the wear at X3.

Blue, Senor Nascar, or anyone else with the game got some questions.

1. What is the length/percentages of races online?

2. Have you all raced with the Xbox Wheel? How good is the FF and response?

3. Is the patch live yet?
The online races can be done in percentages of 2%, 5 %, 10%, 50 %, and 100 %.

I race with the Porsche Fanatec wheel on xbox. It has great FF and response when it is working. The game and that wheel seem to have some trouble communicating with each other. I hope this gets fixed with the day one patch.

The patch is live on PS3 and I am being told the XBOX 360 patch will be live at 2 AM PST.

When I had NASCAR 09 all I did was the quick race setups not the detail
ones. I want to do a real setup but I am not very bright when it comes
to this. Looking forward to Tuesday!!
They don't have any tutorial videos but there are basic or advanced ways to setup the car depending on what you want to do. There are also amazing guides online that are pretty easy to find if you are interested in learning what everything does.

Actually it was good at some tracks like Daytona. At Cali it was really weird, there was some sort of pit bug where they all came in at the same time under green flag conditions and wrecked each other to cause a caution. This happened twice.

Now this was pre-patch so I am sure it will be fixed once that hits.

Thanks, senor

I think I will start with 20% and x3 and then adjust from there. That would give 40 laps at daytona and 100 at martinsville and Bristol which is plenty for me. If my math above is correct it should be result in a couple of stops and fuel mileage strategy possibilities. Looking forward to giving it a go tomorrow night.

Last question-- anyone tried the ms wheel yet on the 360 and if so how the ff feel
