Huge Game #3 MTSU vs #5 UTSA. This game lately has been a week 14, wannabe playoff game. ESPN GameDay will be there. The winner of the game will likely move up at least #3 in the BCS maybe leapfrog me at #2. The Longhorn Network will have #2 NT vs Texas.

Former #2 Minnesota lost to #1 Ohio State 56-24. I'm rooting for someone to beat them, maybe the big 10 title game. I had no answer to their spread option a few seasons ago.

BCS poll #1 Ohio State, #2 NT, #3 Buff, #4 Mid Tenn State #5 UTSA. We will have to schedule more games against the Big 10 next season to beat them down When Buffalo moves to a BCS conference next season that should help their Strength of Schedule to move them up the poll.

Beat Northern Illinois 49-10.

Took a big loss though as star HB Corey Neal went down with a torn shoulder and will be out for 10 weeks, which will likely end his season. True freshman 5-star speedster Nick Walker will now get the lion's share of the carries for the remainder of the season.

Also, sorry about the late passing TD with a few seconds left. I was messing with some new plays with the backups and accidentally got the TD.

UTSA eeks out 35-28 win over MTSU. It was the first victory for UTSA in this mini rivalry which is now in its 4th (maybe 5th?) year. Last year's game was highlighted by MTSU's HB Heisman tropy winner : Landon Myers. He broke open last years game with a 103 yd KO return after UTSA had inched vack within stricking distance. Myers also had a 50+ yd TD run last year late in the game to ultimately sink UTSA.

This years game was once again a brawl with back and forth scoring at the MTSU home field. Alas... UTSA was afforded a huge break when Myers was knocked out of the game in the 1st half with a concussion. UTSA then clamped down on passing defense and was able to contain the explosive MTSU offense sans Myers.

Another one for the books now... UTSA unexpectedly finds itself #2 in the BCS rankings. We are well aware the #3 and #4 teams have two more games to go whereas UTSA only has one go. Those extra games equate to extra BCS points and ... unless someone loses... we expect to end regular season at BCS #3 or #4. Good luck to n.tx. and buf. Looks like one of you two will have OSU in the championship. Unless of course.. OSU loses before then and really makes things interesting
