ODU wins again, a 54-35 smackdown of Temple at home. They improve to 4-2, 3-0 in Sun Belt play. Very good because we had recruits visiting, and are likely to land them next week.

Per usual, QB Jim Gardner led the way, accounting for over 500 yards of offense and 6 total TD's as ODU continues to feast on the sub-par Sun Belt defenses.

Our defense played well for the most part, but kind of let up in the second half, allowing 22 of Temple's 35 points after the break. Overall, still not the performance I was looking for.

TX State knocks UTSA from the ranks of the unbeaten winning 28-14. Once again when Cedric Davis is not turning the ball over the bobcats are a tough team to beat.

TX State got off to a fast start scoring 3 tds all over 20 yds. The first was a 80 yd bomb to Flowers. Next was a 75 yd pass. UTSA also had a 62 yd td pass in the first quarter.

Senior receiver flowers amased 237 yds and 2 tds. Junior QB Davis went 17-25 for 361 yds 4 tds and one interception in the endzone.

This should be a big week for recruit commits.

Our 2 losses have came when Cedric Davis has turned the ball over 5 or more times. At Alabama he had 5 ints and one fumble. At Troy he had 3 int's and two fumbles. Both games we lost by 3 points.
