What are the pre reqs for leveling up now? Anyway to keep track of where you are? I feel like Challenger Elite is within reach. Maybe one day I will be good enough to get to the blues, but thats not today.

Won 1 game in my first 10 and still got challenger elite which I believe is basically silver 3, where I ended season 1 anyways in solos. Don't think the placement matches were weighted much

That's what I was thinking as well. I was in high gold 1 before it ended and ended up with rising star. I played a few matches before work this morning and got promoted to all star. I think the rank points heavily influenced these rankings.

From the thread detailing Season 2...

* Promotion and Demotion between divisions works differently than before. You will be promoted into a division after your skill has risen consistently to the next division up. Once promoted, you won’t risk immediate demotion for losing a game or two.
