I've always had good luck with whirlpool. I've bought appliances from Best Buy, Lowe's and Home Depot, and they've all been great to work with. Definitely go for a place that offers free delivery.

It never hurts to check out other banks. $3,000 is nothing to most banks, so there's no reason they should need a co-signor and your car as collateral.
