What console are you on Ehh? Im on ps4 and light never changes, unless I and resuming a franchise game, then its weird cause you see the game spaz out as the light change comes in a bit late.

Why doesnt the time of day change during games?

So Im playing a 4:15 start time game in franchise mode. Get to the fourth qtr and have to leave my play session for a min so I turn off the PS4.

I come back in 30 mins, boot up madden, resume...

The issue is, regardless of your players man rating, they will be beat on the same routes over and over and over unless that ONE animation triggers where the defender specifically breaks up a slant...

I find zone more consistent than man, because if you call cover 3 all game, the CPU will settle for the checkdown 80% of the time.

I play on all madden default sliders, so take that how you like....
