Re: 2010 Playoff Bracket

Am I crazy or are the Brewers in the playoffs in this file instead of the Braves?! :google:

Re: How to be RTTS MLB MVP in 3 years.

Well the problem is the fact that other attributes decline..or do you spend the 40 points at the last sec(before they decline)?

Re: Does sending young players down to the minors help?

Is he struggling against both leftys and rightys? I was struggling with Brandon Wood but he was doing decent against right handers(.260) but an auto out against leftys(.085). He's hitting .315 after...

Re: No minor league players in season mode?

Set everything you don't want to mess with to "auto" when you first start.

Re: Road to the Show 2010 discussions, impressions, and questions

Dont you just hate it when your pitcher's head just implodes? :(

Pitching a gem through the 6th. No walks, 5 ks, 60 some pitches. Oh and I have a no hitter! The way I'm pitching, is almost a lock...

Re: Glad to leave Citi Field

Dont play in Polo Grounds then! Had a ball roll on me in the 9th with the scored tied, all the way to the wall. Good thing it was John Buck running or it would've been an inside the park home run.

Re: Do any pitchers in this game throw a screwball?

Herrera of the Reds throws a big screwball. But I don't think any of them have it as a pitch, at least not from the SCEA rosters. Dana Eveland of the Jays throws one too I believe.

Re: Ugh, how do I build my franchise with poor draft potentials?

Well if potential really is dynamic, then I'll take a chance. But the problem is that its not as quick as one would hope. Obviously someone jumping to A potential shouldn't be quick as say to B or C....

Ugh, how do I build my franchise with poor draft potentials?

Near the end of the first round, the highest scouted player was a C and there are only two of them. The rest of them are Ds. I'm using the most expensive scouts, if that makes a difference.

How...

Re: Do the Giants have any good Base Stealers?

This is why CF is my main scouting focus in my first year, hopefully can get that stud. Played a franchise with them last year but was missing that huge piece of no one patrolling center for the...

Re: 30 team franchise is a blast!

Right, but here's the thing: you can make the CPU do EVERYTHING. Its always nice to have to the option in case anything wacky happens. Having control for 30 teams may not be realistic but how many...

Re: 30 team franchise is a blast!

Is there a reason people wouldn't want to use 30-team control?

Re: batting on outfield view

Yes, I have been able to get better pitch recognition since I switched from catcher to outfield view. I brought it a bit closer to pitcher view though. Its fun to experiment as different people have...

Re: So how are you handling your franchises?

I'll like some more input. I have the week off so I need to make some progress or else I'll never get the ball rolling.

So how are you handling your franchises?

So how are you guys handling drafting and handling the prospects with low/average potential grades? Last year I mostly stocked up my teams with B and A potential grades. If you were a C, you really...

Re: Post-Knight&Co. Roster Franchise Starters!

I haven't gotten that far tbh. I have only played three game series so far but I just skipped ahead to the draft to see what kind of prospects I could potentially get.

The highest [overall]...
