M18 confidence

I haven't played Madden in like 2 years, but remember there being a confidence "death spiral" in previous years Madden. Does that issue pop up in 18? Can confidence be turned off?

Brady retired after season 1. Brees was around for 3 more seasons. Ben seemed to stick around for awhile but I don't know exactly. 39ish seems to be the retirement age.

As a Jets fan, I say Sheldon Richardson. They locked up Mo and have Leonard as the other guy. I can't imagine them extending Sheldon since you can't really fit all three guys in a base 3-4 since...
