Re: Pitching too easy… any suggestions?

Simulation and Pure Analog. I think I have too much control with analog and may experiment with pinpoint

Re: Pitching too easy… any suggestions?

Sure. Nope currently have them at default but may start tinkering with those sliders next. Was just focusing on the 3 to get a feel for how they impacted the difficulty.

Re: Pitching too easy… any suggestions?

Currently giving up about 8-10 hits and 3-4 runs a game with sliders up to +9 for pitching. Tried +10 for the hell of it and got tagged for an average of 17 hits and 8 runs over 3 games. Even pitches...

Re: Pitching too easy… any suggestions?

Set CPU Contact, Timing and Power sliders to +9 seems to have helped. I feel like I’m using my bullpen more, which I wasn’t at all earlier. Hope this helps! Appreciate all the suggestions in here

Re: Pitching too easy… any suggestions?

I’ll try that with the 3 sliders you suggested. I don’t use sliders much so I wasn’t sure which to try. Really appreciate your advice, thank you!

Re: Pitching too easy… any suggestions?

Nope not yet just getting ready to start experimenting. Do you think it’s best to put them all that high right off the bat? Just looking to find a good challenge but not get pummeled every game...

Pitching too easy… any suggestions?

I use analog pitching and on Legend+ I’m blowing through guys too easy. I’ve given up around 13 runs in 10 games. Anyone having this issue found a slider setup that works for them?

Re: Has baserunning been messed up since the last patch?

I agree and also find it infuriating. It def happening more often also. I lost 2 runs in my last game simply because of guys sliding at in opportune times. Ridiculous!

Re: Has baserunning been messed up since the last patch?

There’s another base running issue that has it’s been bugging me for as long as I can remember, and it just dawned on me that maybe I should ask if I’m doing something wrong instead of assuming it’s...

Re: Pitchers, not necessarily aces, who give you trouble?

This also is a killer for me. Anyone here have issues with sliders or cutters breaking inside? Just looks so good coming down the middle, and breaks inside at the last moment. I've swung at some...

Re: Pitchers, not necessarily aces, who give you trouble?

I’m my 15 years of playing this game I’ve never figured this out. Hell, I don’t even think I’ve remotely improved. Same for sliders that start in the middle of the plate and end up outside the zone....

Re: Pitchers, not necessarily aces, who give you trouble?

Strider is brutal! I just try to wait him out and hope his pitch count increases enough that I can get to the bullpen. Not hitting that dude.

Re: Pitchers, not necessarily aces, who give you trouble?

Would like to add Dustin May to this conversation. I flailed at his slurve like an imbecile last night. I just couldn't lay off it, and it moves around like a damn flying saucer!

Re: Pitchers, not necessarily aces, who give you trouble?

Dude good call on Cishek. I faced him a lot when he was a the marlins since I always play a Phillies franchise. Could never hit that guy.

Re: Pitchers, not necessarily aces, who give you trouble?

Kenley Jansen comes to mind for me. Not sure if it’s a hesitation but his wind up and release is just too much for my brain.

Re: Pitchers, not necessarily aces, who give you trouble?

Been playing the show since 08 and still can’t hit submarine style pitchers for my life. Automatic out for me.

Pitchers, not necessarily aces, who give you trouble?

Just curious if anyone has certain pitchers, who aren’t necessarily even aces, they don’t like facing? Back in the day, it was Beachy of the Braves, found his change up impossible and was thankful...
