Injuries do happen. Had two injuries in my last franchise game. Both are 4 weeks in length, torn labrum and pulled groin. This is in M23, but I’m still using the competitive game style.

I’ve noticed that the CPU will call better plays. At least ones that make more sense for the down/distance while using competitive.

In franchise, create a new character (coach of the team you’re playing that week) and update/edit the roster that way. Works for me every time.

I didn’t make any changes to the gameplay sliders. The only changes were to the quarter length, accel clock, SS abilities and progressive fatigue. All other sliders/settings are the same as the OP.
