Re: Madden 19 Modding Discussion

The helmet textures include everything you mentioned (base color, decals, etc.), but you have to select "Load Transparency as Alpha channel" when opening the DDS for everything to be visible.

Re: The OFFICIAL Modding Help Thread

This happened to me when I tried to export files by right-clicking on them and choosing the Export option.

My guess is that the image has to be opened in Frosty before it can be exported as a dds...

Re: The OFFICIAL Modding Help Thread

I use the Logitech F310 and had this problem, but on the bottom of the pad there's a switch with X and D options. If your pad has this switch it should be set to X, for Xbox orientation.

Re: Madden 19 Modding Discussion

If you've never done hex editing, I'd suggest looking at a video tutorial first, for the basics.

You'll need a hex editor, obviously. I use HxD.

One thing I just found out: you don't need to...

Re: Madden 19 Modding Discussion

Now that the Frosty Editor supports importing number arrays, I'm wondering how to go about editing them. Photoshop will open an array file, but not the actual array (just the zero).

Is there an...

Re: The OFFICIAL Modding Help Thread

I'm having an issue when editing the norm and rsm files. After the edits they look fine in Photoshop but when I import in Frosty they're much darker, and that's evident in the game.

My guess is...

Re: The OFFICIAL Modding Help Thread

Question for experienced Frosty users: is there a performance difference based on the number of active mods?

In other words, should I be creating several small mods or one "global" with all...

Re: The OFFICIAL Modding Help Thread

I edited the Lions' team color list (general and uniform 1) after using EasyRGB to get the sRGB values, and something went wrong.

Their primary color is now closer to "mint." Any ideas?

Re: Madden 19 Modding Discussion

I'm trying to find the create-a-player faces without any luck. I replaced one of the players/gen_1 files but didn't see the change in game.

Re: Madden 19 Modding Discussion

Re: The OFFICIAL Modding Help Thread

When I open helmet or field files in CS2, I'm only seeing one layer plus the RGB alpha values. How do I make the actual field, or base helmet colors, visible?

I've tried both with the option to...

Re: The OFFICIAL Modding Help Thread

While we're on the subject, you mentioned earlier that team color values affect uniform parts, but there are at least a couple of places where team colors can be changed. Which one impacts parts?

Re: The OFFICIAL Modding Help Thread

I know there are tutorials coming that will address this, but in the meantime, can anyone explain how to avoid random blocks of color when modifying textures with alpha layers?

Re: Madden 19 Frosty Editor Now Released

If you haven't gotten it going yet, I had the same issue, and here's what worked for me:

1. Move the Frosty exe to the Resources folder and launch from there.
2. Frosty should open, with error...

Re: Madden 19 Frosty Editor Now Released

The Mod Manager opened without a problem. The Editor... not so much. I've tried everything suggested in this thread, so does anybody have a Plan D?
