Why is QB play so bad?

AI qb play in madden has never been great. It's always been pretty close to robo qb since... forever.

However in the last two years I don't know what they did but they have really killed the AI's...

I've resorted to just moving Wrs to TE and RB so that I can actually sub them in on those sets. The defense mostly adjusts unless it's something that is a two TE set. But on the spread sets with...

We only want to simulate the broad strokes of the coaching/franchise experience. Very few of us would ever want to put in the actual work of an NFL head coach.

1- Create ghost playbooks so that the cpu doesn't run 45 slants a game. Doing this has revitalized the game for me.

If you aren't on PC then create ghost playbooks. There is a thread in the sliders section that explains it. But the short version is you will have to edit the playbook for teams you play to remove...

Was that a mirage or did I not hear this? I still have backs and receivers hurl themselves out of bounds on most plays to the flat. Did they not advertise this being fixed?

I don't know when they got rid of the QB dodge mechanic, but it really needs to make a return.

Well first they need to fix the canned QB escape animations so they don't take 10 years to finish and...
