Re: Pure analog...

Ok, Ive tried the "new analog" . Given it a chance for 6 games. The new analog is like playing slow pitch softball. There isn't that rewarding feeling when you have success like in hardball. It's...

Re: Pure analog...

Started my first game last night and was stunned that the stride was removed! Im a life long baseball player and the stride best replecated loading your swing before you uncoil. Now analog is the...

Re: Check swing has been ruined for Pure Analog Hitting

Hmm....maybe it's me then or getting used to the PS4 controller. I just barley touch up to swing and seeming pull back in time, but my guys are still taking a full cut every time.

Check swing has been ruined for Pure Analog Hitting

Just grabbed my PS4 today with "The Show" and dove right in with my old settings. I noticed stride timing is much different this year and I can deal with the adjustment, but check swinging has been...

Re: Operation Sports MLB 13 The Show Community Impressions Thread

Only played 3 innings this Am. Game is noticebly improved from last year. Especialy ball physics. Everthing across the board seems much more polished and fine tuned. My "The Show" addiction will...

Re: The Show - worth buying a PS3 for?

The Show is so great it keeps me from playing any other games. I always go to the console wanting to dive into a new game, but I end up playing The Show every damn time! I am addicted!

Re: Really getting tired of getting guys thrown out at second base!

For sure it should be tweaked with sliders or a patch. I got thrown out on a gapper to the wall at Wrigley last night using Cincy's ss. Valdez?

Anyway, no chance in real life.

Re: Flame me if you want but...

I mash the ball on all-star but like the OP said, line drives keep going right at guys. Very frusterating. I was playing Detroit last night against Porcello. Through 5 innings I had 5 walks, 5 hits,...

Re: True Analog users: Do you press up in the direction of the pitch.

I crush it on veteran, and no need to go directional there. I like the way the AI pitches on All Star. The PCI seems to be over the ball on alot of swings and I have good/perfect timing alot with...

Re: True Analog users: Do you press up in the direction of the pitch.

True Analog users: Do you press up in the direction of the pitch.

I never found a need to for MLB 11, but in this years edition I feel im being penalized when not pushing up in the direction of the pitch. I use all-star by default BTW.

I just find it nearly...

Re: Please tell me there are multiple others who have to lower pitch speed

As soon as I played my first inning on All star default that ball was humming! There is no way the default pitch speed is lower than last year. I use analog and it's a bitch. Kudos to any that can...

Re: How old are you, MLB the Show fan?

38. Started with odessy and intellivision baseball. When the original NES baseball hit I saved money for weeks to get it. I kept my own stats for that game with it's 6 teams!

Caved in last year...

Re: Hitting: Timing, Analog, or Zone?

Analog for sure for me. I still play a lot of hardball in real life and the way they implimented the stride timing needed plus pitch recognition is phenominal in The Show 11. Very rewarding and...

Re: Taking the plunge

Go with analog hitting for sure. Its tougher initially, but so much more interactive and worth the learning curve. I tried timing only for the first time the other night and it's a snoozefest...
