You seem to be the only one having this issue. My first thought is to double check your sliders.

Are you sure you're using 15 minute quarters with accelerated clock and 12 second minimum play...

1. I have not seen this once.
2. No idea which way the slider works. But I like the amount of fumbles I see with this slider set
3. I do not keep the main menu sliders the same as the CFM...

My method is:

-Play Full Game
-At the kickoff I hit LS
-I set the sim speed to Slow
-Then I click "Sim to End"
-Then I watch the game in its entirety.

In the three games I simmed with these sliders, there were only two fumbles lost. Both in the last game.
