NBA 2K17 is supposed to be a basketball "simulation" not some arcade type ****. Boosts are without a doubt in the game so people spend vc on them.

Play Now Online definitely destroys MyTeam. A lot more balance in PNO and you don't have to worry about facing some team that already has all the best players and all the best badges like some...

Possibly in a future title they will have an online only career mode where you can level up and earn badges strictly online. But of course that would require a pretty high demand from people like us.
