Funny enough the zones were working well when the game had bugs. Once the bugs were fixed the zones didn't work as well :y220d:

I've a feeling this is what Rex realized once he started getting feedback about "broken zone coverage". I don't think it's "lack of trust" in 30 or so folks, it's more about what %ge of average...

I've rarely seen a new feature/mode work flawlessly right off the bat, especially for a long running franchise like Madden or FIFA series. We have no idea how they have implemented it. Maybe they are...

This is the first time they have introduced this feature and they are learning things as they go along. I don't expect the gameplay modes to work as we expect and it may take a couple of years before...

IMO there's one other factor which needs to be considered and I guess this is what Rex and EA are thinking of... the 30 or so folks (Gamechangers) who were flown to play the game are elite Madden...

I read somewhere zones can't be fixed in a tuner update but will need a more comprehensive patch to be sorted.

From what I was able to understand there are two main zones which are not working as they should - flats and deep purple/blue. The defenders don't cover the flats well enough and the deep zones don't...
