Max protect, block audible the RB (I do this almost always unless I really want the RB route) double team their elite pass rushers with the new double team audible feature.

Same issue on AM, though not quite as bad as AP as the CPU is at least more aggressive in shedding blocks and pursuit.
I attribute this to very good RBs and some overpowered plays. I use house...

Been playing some more games and getting good variation. Some blowouts, some tough close games.

Still just seeing a bit too much separation in coverage, most noticeable for the CPU....

Looks like I didn’t save it, but essentially it was a pick play, TE ran into a defender and it got called OPI.

Matt I see the coverage issues in press and cushion both, but it’s early separation...

Another idea for red zone CPU is to control your opponent that week and have them do the Red Zone offense exercise to give a stat boost when they’re in the RZ. Did this a few years back.

If you want to lose to better teams you pretty much need to play AM in my opinion, especially if you are a Madden vet. Otherwise you’re looking at handicapping yourself with sliders or self imposed...

Only tested AM. That would make some sense, but I’m sure Matt tested both.
