Great writeup!

It's nice to see Asomugah pull down honors in his first game as a Falcon.

Also, I love the way that the medieval period always acts as a metaphor for unremitting, brute violence. My medievalist colleagues would bristle at that, but it was the era of the Crusades after all.

This was beautiful! LMAO@ Jack English being the ACQB's version of Chuck Norris. Ace Garrison got his Jack English on in week 2 though, throwing for 4 TD's and running for 1. And someone please tell opposing QB's to stay away from Ben Gray. He has now knocked out 3 QB's in 2 weeks. He is the incredible Hulk's nephew.

When you get those knockout blows, are you tackling normally, diving at the QB, or hit sticking?

I have heard that you get more injuries through normal tackles and more fumbles through hit sticks and am wondering if that's true.

I injured Brees for a bit with a diving hit to the chest by my rookie MLB, but I haven't focused on this issue enough to generate a theory about it.

Great work. I was laughing at the Jack English part.

From my experience, injuries are far more likely on hit sticks, and most importantly, far more likely when guys with 95+ are hitting you. I had a DT that only got the QB/RB 1-2 times per game, but he had 98 HPW and an amazing percentage of his hits were injury-inducing. In the playoff game last season, he had 1 tackle, but it sidelined Forte briefly.
