Year 2, Week 1 Broncos Report Brian Dawkins Retires  16 year veteran SS Brian Dawkins decided that the 2011 season would be his last. Dawkins, who played most of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles played his final 3 years with the Broncos. "We hate to lose him, he's everything you want in a football player and a key leader of our team," said HC/GM f1fty. The Broncos addressed the need with their first pick in the draft by selecting SS Jonny Kohlhausen, 13th overall from Duke University. Kohlhausen, a 6'3" and 216 pounds, has remarkable speed for his size and is projected to be the starter going into camp.
