The Ram report

Hi, this is Scoop Jackson from the St. Louis snitch, the first black-owned newspaper in St. Louis, here with some explosive news from the rams front office:

In light of Sam Bradford's horrible play over the last 6 weeks, Coach twosilk has benched the former first pick in the draft, choosing to go with Jerrod Johnson at QB this week against the Ravens. Coach Twosilk had this to say: " Sam has had chances to prove he wanted the job even got him the players he wanted around him and so far he has not been the QB we need him to be, this is not a permanent benching, but lets see what happens when someone else gets the chance to run the offense."

Other news out of the front office, some players were given early releases as GM Twosilk wants to see some youth on the field included in the releases are:

ROLB Bryan Kehl
CB Ronald Bartell
LG Chris Stewart
LE Jeremy Jarmon
MLB Dhani Jones
CB Dimitri Patterson

The rams also signed QB Josh Johnson to a one year deal to finish their depth chart at QB. Josh will be a third stringer and probably wont see the field, but since GM Twosilk is sleeping with his sister he thought this might be a good idea.

Re: The Ram report

Scoop Jackson back from Ram headquarters, with the latest news from the front office, Coach Twosilk has reinstated Sam Bradford at QB after Jerrod Johnson failed to get over 100 yards passing in both of his starts, Coach Twosilk had this to say:" Jerrod led us to a victory but missed several open throws in the game we could have put up 60 points had he hit the receivers that we had open, at 3-7 we still have a chance to go at least .500 and we will give Sam the chance to remain a ram, if this doesnt pan out, we may look into trading him in the offseason."

Also rumor has it that the rams are quietly shopping their first round draft pick more on this as it develops.

Re: A rarity in St. Louis

The rams are on a two game winning streak thanks in large part to their defense finally settling into the new scheme, and the threat of not having a job next season, the rams have recorded 12 turnovers in their last 2 games, and have not thrown a single pick in either, in their latest game the rams had the rarity of resting starters, while being on the good side of a blowout for a change as the ram defense actually made a big play to ignite the blowout, with Jim Leonhard getting a pick 6 from inside the five, it may be the shortest pick 6 in sfl history.Steven Jackson followed that up with the longest run of his sfl career with a 76 yard run on 3rd and short that run seemed to break the will of the team and the hometown fans as many headed for the exits to get a jump on christmas shopping. The rams got their rookie running back Brennen Hamilton in on the action with his first 100 yard game of his career. Good game to the saints, they couldn't catch a break.

Re: The Ram report

In a game that had all of the makings of a seattle win, they had everything to play for the rams had nothing, it was played on christmas day,(what better day to get the gift of a playoff berth) but yet the rams find a way to pull victory from defeat, neither offense will use this game as a best of reel, the seahawks were able to stymie the ram running game all day and frustrated ram receivers with a great blending of zone and man schemes, Sam Bradford did throw one pick but he played solid and protected the rock. Hines ward playing for his career not to end had 4 tough catches for 33 yards he has become the go to possession receiver. Danny Amendola had 3 catches including a great toe tap on a 3rd down in the game winning drive. As the rams show some class by not mailing in the season to get a better draft pick, Coach twosilk when asked why he even attempted to win the game had this to say: Some teams enjoy saying they have the number one pick in the draft, to me what they are really saying is that I enjoying sucking, and that will never come out of this team. We are here to play 16 games and not to tank the last 10 to pick number 1 or 2 and you heard it here first, the rams will be in the playoffs next season, mark my word!!

Again great game Super always a pleasure to play you.

good luck in your playoff pursuit!!

Re: The Ram report

Scoop Jackson here with news from Ram headquarters, the Rams have parted ways with Sam Bradford, this comes as no real surprise as the QB has wanted out of St. louis since the beginning of the season. in exchange for Bradford the rams get Veteran QB Jay Cutler, he is not expected to be the long term answer, but will hold the ship until the rams decide on a future QB, Cutler is excited about being able to leave Chicago where he feels he has not even been truly given a chance to showcase his talents, and he is even happier to be bringing along Devin Hester with him, in a interesting twist, Sam Bradford has refused to suit up for tonights game with the browns, Coach Twosilk says that he has cleaned out his locker and turned in his parking pass, so Josh Johnson will get the start in what coach Twosilk is calling a one game tryout for his career, Josh could be the backup next year, or he could be teaching 3rd grade, this game will go a long way toward making that decision.
