The Ravens reported to the Castle today as Training Camp will kick off tomorrow. The biggest story lines involve Ed Reed being on the final year of his contract and Joe Flacco looking for a contract Extension. Is this the last season for one of the NFL's greatest players, Ray Lewis? Will the Ravens be without T-Sizzle? If so, how will their current crop of outside linebackers make up for his loss? Lots of questions as training camp kicks off tomorrow evening around 8 pm central standard time.

Ravens defenders are really excited about some of the things that were drawn up on the chalk board in their first meeting last night. They plan to play vanilla for the most of pre-season however.

Going to have to play a lot of lobby players to test out the intricate schemes

Ravens Defense Had Vick Running for his Life in 8 QB Tackle Performance



It was a game that the Ravens offense knew would be tough due to the Eagles stellar cornerback play. The Ravens offense was pretty much shut out of the endzone the first half as their only score was a Tucker FG. Tucker missed another 52 yard FG in the first half. The Eagles would score three FG's in the first half and take a 9-3 half time lead.

The Ravens would find the crease they needed in the Eagles coverage in the third quarter after making a few half time adjustments.



Joe Flacco hit Ray Rice for a 67 yard TD pass and the Ravens took a one point lead 10-9. The Eagles would climb back and kick a FG to take the lead 12-10.

Flacco would lead the offense back down the field again for another TD to take the lead 17-12.



The defense would turn the pressure up once again and keep the Eagles offense in check. The Ravens walk out of the Linc with a 17-12 victory.
