We are monitoring and fixing issues in this thread.
Thanks for your patience.
The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
Mr. Kaplan is somehow alive!! I'm glad she's alive, but the sheer power of the scene is somewhat diminished, although I'll take it. Red doesn't usually shoot for the head, so her minuscule odds of surviving were somewhat increased. If I had to guess they wanted to show that Red has a zero tolerance betrayal policy at the same time keeping a popular character still breathing.
EDIT: No- the angle of the gun clearly indicates a head shot.
Watching the scene again I can say that it was still extremely powerful-the show might have pulled off "having it's cake and eating it too".
I am enjoying this season...BUT, this show (and shows like it) irritate the crap out of me with their laziness sometimes. For example, the team is at HQ in Washington, DC...we get a call that the boat has been found and their are survivors onboard. Next scene we see Ressler and Navabi approaching the boat as the guy is receiving medical attention in CUBA. It would take hours to get there...it's like the whole Alaska/Helicopter episode a few years ago.
I don't understand how someone in a writer's room doesn't say "this isn't realistic...". I know, it's just a show...but stuff like that bothers the heck out of me! /rant.

I'm pretty sure Ressler and Navabi were set up in southern Florida at that time. A naval officer informs both of them that "their" boat has been found in Madeira Bay, "a few miles offshore" and that it will be escorted to a "nearby" marina. The guy is getting medical care from Miami-Dade County officials and is not in Cuba.

The scene right before that they are in the HQ in DC...the one they always are in. Miami or Cuba, it's still unbelievable to me that they'd be there right away.

That wasn't the scene right before that. They show Liz and Kirk in the boat at night just after that Washington DC Ressler-Harold-Aram scene so morning-afternoon had arrived when Ressler and Navabi were notified by the naval officer-they might have even been on a ship.
But you're right-if you are assuming that they are still in DC the "Miami-esh"-Cuba difference isn't too big a deal.
Sorry to draw this out and it's only my opinion. I didn't even notice a "possible" time jump until you brought it up.
