I did like how A-Rod had his shin guard on protecting the inner leg, just like in real life. Still doing the boring home run trot instead of the one used on broadcasts. You know the one where cameraman is close to the ground and make the guy coming around to home plate look "heroic" and then following him into the dugout. Does anyone even watch baseball games? I'm sorry if you all are blown away by recycled material. ("Caveman swinging a club", "amazing" shortstop jump throws, replays of outfielders trying to catch HR's they can't reach, insert Karros dialogue). It looks like we've entered COD, NBA 2K territory. It's as I feared, most of the time was spent on the VITA.

And to pick up on this...I know this comment alone won't solve the dilemma once the game ships, but people ARE allowed to have negative comments about the game so long as they do it constructively.

Yankees2009Champs didn't trash any of the developers of the game. He didn't say the game was stupid or dumb or a POC. He pointed out what he didn't like and why he felt it didn't deliver in his eyes.

The same way you guys love how amazing the game is, he doesn't like what's missing.

That being said, it goes both ways. So if he makes a comment about lack of commentary authenticity and then complains about presentation authenticity, he shouldn't expect that a member (or Pared in this case) wouldn't call him out on it.

I have been pretty critical on the show but like what I see...if u dont like campbell then mute him! I see improvements in commentary and the overlays are very crisp...love the new batting and pitching they have implemented...i like like the improvements.

If you guys have a problem with the commentary in the show, try listening to the commentary in a Los Angeles Dodgers game.

Personally, i don't mind the commentary, maybe its because I'm new to the series, but it doesn't bother me at all, I'm just glad that everything looks so real in the show, after coming over from playing the 2k series for the past 5 years. The show looks amazing.

But Prince Fielder is in desperate need of a new batting stance.

Wow, Comerica Park looks like it's from an entirely different game. Just a few subtle changes in the wall color, and the "tigers.com tickets" in the bullpen, and it looks awesome. So much better than it used to.

I liked how on Delmon Young's rounding of the bases, it looked so much more realistic than in years past. Even though he hit an opposite field homer. But I guess he did have one agaisnt New York in the postseason so that gets a pass :P

The numbers seemed pretty realistic, I'm not sure about the stances though. Jackson's is alright, but Boesch and Raburn's didn't look very good I think. The ones I used for them last year were much better. They also sped up Max Scherzer's delivery.

But the different variations in the cleats/batting gloves was very cool.
