Re: NBA 2K14 Video - Short Video From Gamescom

Spotted a nice animation at 3:05, the ball handler pushes the ball up the court an switches hands without stopping momentum, i know i never seen that in 2K13.

That's pretty minor. Has nothing to do with gameplay really.

Re: NBA 2K14 Video - Short Video From Gamescom

I saw some solid things in the second, longer video. That said, I did see one thing that reminded me of an aspect in 2K13 I kind of had a problem with: at 2:18, a player is streaking for a left handed layup. It's not contested, but the defender standing near I think registers as a contest, which then makes the player miss the shot. At least, that's how it worked in 2K13. In '13, I was able to predict which uncontested layups were going to be missed just based upon where the stationary non-threatening defender was positioned. Hopefully that was just a rare open court botch in the '14 video, but who knows at this point.

Loved the 3:00 mark in your 2nd video when the user tries to use the up and under. The cpu doesn't bite, keeping his hands up during the process and forces a little contact and a missed shot. The up and under usually resulted in a defender force field push back and an easy 2 in 2k13.

@sundown, I like the presentation look of the starting lineups, to me that is nice, simple and unique... nothing over the top but yet not vanilla either.

What would you like to see instead?
