CPU fumble slider

Which way do I tune the CPU fumble slider to have there be more fumbles? I assume it would be down, a lower number, to induce more fumbles. But I have it in the low 30’s and am not seeing many fumbles.

It’s been 9 days since you asked. I’m sure during that time you ran a game (or maybe a couple) with it set to 0 and then with it set to 100 and compared the results.

Going left or lowering the number is making it more possible for a fumble.

A pretty unpleasant reply, don’t you think? Probably could have let that one fall on the page, no?

It’s a ball security slider. From what I’ve gleaned from the slider posts, turn it up for more ball security and less fumbles. Down for the opposite. This is also what the in-game directions indicate.

In my games I’ve seen less QB fumbles with it lower, which are the majority that I see anyhow, but I’ve been jacking around with other sliders and difficulties and laying my QB down more often.

To give a man a fish or teach him how to fish? That is the question.

Yeah… thanks.

No, I’m a little busy. Especially during football season. In those 9 days I’ve managed to play about two games. And I didn’t care to mess with my sliders to extremes to try and figure out something that might take 20 seconds to read on a forum, where I’ve been reading answers to questions like these for nearly 25 years now.

Also, you can’t access that slider from within a dynasty game. So it’s not real easy to test your extreme theory without spending a good bit of time playing and backing in and out of games.

Re: CPU fumble slider

I’m also curious about this. I’ve turned my fumble slider for human up to about 80 and the CPUs to about 10 and still I’m the one fumbling mostly. I don’t think I’ve seen the CPU fumble since messing with it. Wondering if the slider is actually reversed now?
