Playmaker? It's in the manual...

But it doesn't work. In the manual, there is a command for playmaker. I attempted to execute it in practice mode and it didn't work. It says to press and hold L2 and click R3 for playmaker. Has anyone tried this yet?

Yeah I read that to. I tried it once and I ended up throwing the ball away and being flagged for intentional grounding. Haven't tried it since.

Doesn't the Playmaker involve MOVING the right stick, not clickin it?

Moving the right stick after you click it, smarty-pants.

Well in the manual it says "press" the R3 button. If I interpretted that as pressing down on the trigger then I guess I must be the world's biggest idiot. If it said "move" the R3 button, I probably would not have made this mistake.

You aren't an idiot because you followed the directions that was written in the manual. I too threw the ball away when I held the L2 trigger down. By moving the right stick alone, the QB does that evasive move, to which I have yet to see in action either.

I thought playmaker wasn't in this year's game but when I saw it in the manual I was somewhat happy, but sad that I didn't execute it.
