Hmmm,... guess I'm either late or I'm the only guy who still gives a crap about the series! Lol! I know somebody has got to be excited about that trailer?

Well I could've sworn we already had a thread dedicated to Halo 4 so I didn't respond earlier. But I just did a search and wasn't able to find anything.

Regardless, I'm excited about Halo 4. I've always been a big Halo fan and am looking forward to playing 343's take on the Halo universe.

I sure hope online mode won't be a replica of the last few Halos.

I think they will keep the same foundation so that it will still play like Halo for fans however I hope since it's a new trilogy 343 tries new and interesting things.

I hope so too, but Bungie tried somewhat with Reach, and it has been the most polarizing of the series amongst the community, particularly the multiplayer. Microsoft has paid no expense putting together an all-star development team, I just hope their not creatively stymied to stick to the current formula. I'm expecting them to play it fairly safe in terms of gameplay and really listen to a lot of community feedback, reverting back to more of how the game played online in Halo 1-3 (i.e. no reticule bloom, armor abilities). Maybe they will change things up more for single player, at least it's going to be cool to see new enemies. Tough to fill Marty's shoes, but Neil Davidge (the composer and producer for the last few Massive Attack albums) being teased as the composer for Halo 4 is exciting.

I'm going to hate if they take out bloom..... With bloom it actually made you pay for missing a shot IMO.
