One of the major upgrades in next-gen madden is that the defense doesn't drop balls right in their hands, and they aggressively go after picks. Unfortunately, this seems to result in far too many interceptions (at least, for me). Is anyone else experiencing this? If so, what are you doing slider wise to help fix it?

Yes. Peyton Manning threw 6 picks vs me. I was bummed cause I hadn't run into that before. Usually its 2 or 3 a game. Turned my INT way down, i dont even try to user pick anymore.

I have the INT sliders set to 0 and it still might be a problem; especially since I play in coach-mode so I'm subjected to CPU decision making for the entire game.

I've also increased the pass-blocking sliders to give the QB's a bit more time to make a better decision and I reduced the reaction-time for pass defense. I hope the combination of those three slider adjustments is the remedy I'm looking for because I'm enjoying the game aside from this.

Anyone having success on this issue?

I don't play with the nearest defender and my slider is set to zero for interceptions, 40/40 on the pass coverage and reaction and I still picked off RG3 5 times.

I don't have a problem when I get picked because I generally deserve it throwing into coverage. I would like to see WRs make better plays on Go Routes. When I played the patriots I had like 9 sacks against Tom Brady and picked him off 4 times, that's a bit excessive

Ya I dont think the slider is working correctly or at all really or has no affect.which doesn't surprise me at all. I'm going to put it at a 100 and see what happens.

I have my player int slider at 1 and I am getting pretty good results. The players still break on the ball but they drop it rather than pick it. Looks unnatural because of the animation but the way the play works out is realistic. Probably still see 1 too many a game from the CPU.

I left the CPU on default because I want to be punished for bad throws and boy have I been this season. It wasn't until two games ago that I really made a commitment to take what the defense gives and check down or throw the ball away. Up until then I had thrown 30 ints over 13 games.
