Obviously, the major markets are gonna be in RB, WR & DL. Demarco Murray, Frank Gore & Ray Rice are some of the major names for RB's. Dez Bryant, Michael Crabtree & Demaryius Thomas are the standouts on the WR list. And the biggest FA this year, Ndamukong Suh, headlines a deep list for DL. Obviously, there may be some cap casualties, so I hope to keep this list updated as the months pass.

I'm going to hold off on judging the quality of players until the tag players are done. Because that could mean no Murray, Suh, Dez, Demaryius Thomas, Justin Houston, JPP, Devin McCourty, Orakpo (not entirely sure he will tagged but it is a possibility). And with the Murray and Dez scenario one is getting franchised and the other will get transition tagged.

Also Jonathan Casillas is a Patriot, not on the Buccaneers.

Re: Official NFL Offseason Thread.

I hope Wes Welker calls it a career as reports are suggesting.

The problem with tagging this year, is that pretty much every major player that would receive a tag would be earning Top 5 player money. And, for most teams, that would result in a very major cap hit, especially if it's a QB being tagged. I shudder to think about the Hawks even thinking about tagging RW. He'd literally eat up 95% of our cap space.

I doubt any player that isn't a QB or young elite WR will earn a tag this year, not even Suh.

Re: Official NFL Offseason Thread.

Jason Cole reports Denver are weighing the idea of cutting Peyton Manning.

My prediction is unless he takes a massive pay cut, he plays for Tennessee or Houston in 2015.
