The Padres. Which Is why I assume that most OS'ers prefer 30 team control. I just can't bring myself to do 30 team control but moves like this make me realize why some feel it's a necessity.

I cant do 30 either, but i do control 12. Its tough with just that many. But as you said, that's a reason to do it though. They Padres? Hahaaha

I haven't made it that far in franchise but will have to see if I can find out in my RTTS. But I do know that if this happens in real life I might be through with baseball. Okay maybe not really but it would be rather soul crushing to see my favorite player go to my most despised team. He can go anywhere else as far as I'm concerned but I hope he follows Strasburg's lead and re-signs before hitting FA.

My 30 team control is pretty easy. Unless it's something crazy, like Harper signing with the Padres. I let the computer do what they do. You must control everything about each 12?

Havent made it that far yet, but Im interested to see.

I do 30 team control but only control the Mets. I only have it that way to make real life transactions. Other than those I let the cpu play itself out.

If the Marlins can "afford" to sign Stanton to a gigantic contract then why can't the Padres "afford" to sign Harper to a gigantic contract? Sure it would more than likely never happen in real life because the Padres are cheap skates and always have been that way. Although it never has made much sense to me.

He re signed with Washington in mine. But half a year into his contract he was traded to Pittsburgh for McCutchen straight up.
