What's your preferred game mode, and why?

MyTeam, MyGM, MyLeague, MyPlayer???

Which one do you like most?
Why?
What don't you like about the others.

I bought 2k19 and haven't played a basketball game in over a decade.
What do you do in these modes....

I'm a virgin - pop my cherry!

I'm all about MyLeague because I love playing GM, building a franchise, drafting, playing through the highs and lows of each individual season and ultimately I love feeling like every game you play matters or means something.

If I'm not in MyLeague, I spend lot of the rest of my time playing with the classic teams. The nostalgic feeling I get playing and watching past generations, especially from the time period I grew up, is awesome.

100% offline, My League. I like rebuilding bad teams into champions. I do it with every sports game.

PNO and MLO because I love. Competition. These are the only two modes where every player isn't boosted beyond default ratings

I play myleague about 90% of the time.

I'm really interested in team building and player progression, and the tools the 2K basketball games give are outstanding. Really looking forward to the extra customization sliders that are new this year.

Pro am. I think its the most competetive and simulation based mode. Being able to use your own player you created

Re: What's your preferred game mode, and why?

MyLeague is exceptional and can be played forever, that's for sure the main mode for me.

MyGM (no story) I like the financial choices and staff/player interactions at play in this mode to differentiate it from MyLeague so I'll definitely have a save I'll invest in.

MyGM (story version) will get played to see what the story is like but I likely won't play much beyond that because I'm not a big fan of forced narratives.

MyCareer has become my least favorite single player mode this gen but 2k19 looks to be dramatically improved in this area with better writing, faster progression and the improvements/additions they've made especially to endorsements.

MyTeam will get at least a look from me as they've expanded the offline content this year but this mode never really interests me so I doubt I'll hang around long.

Every now and then I'll use classic teams or play a game of NBA Today or Blacktop but I never jump into any multiplayer modes because they don't interest me and I don't have a subscription anyway.

Writing all this out it just hit me how much content the game actually offers. It's bananas.
