8 man bullpens

Any idea how to get AI teams to spread out appearances when using 8 man pens?

For example, I looked at the Yankees and thru 10 games Tommy Kahnle has 0 appearances... Rest of pen has multiple appearances.

LR1 - SP - lower stamina 20 points
LR2- 3rd Best Middle Reliever
MR1 - Set Up 1
MR2- Best Middle Reliever
MR3- Set Up 2
MR4 - 2nd Best Middle Reliever
CP - Closer

I've found this to be the best set up for him stats + AI bullpen usage. If any player is in the Set Up 1/2 role they won't be used much.

I do 13 Position Players and 12 Pitchers.

Let's say the CPU makes a roster move, will they sort the bullpen out to the old way of having setup men, etc and you'd have to make this adjustment again? Or does it stick?

This just solidified my beliefs that the Yankees are dumb.

Unfortunately I run 30 team control with everything manual.

If a player gets injured when you replace him, the new player goes to Set Up 1. I then move him to MR #4 spot.

Once the player comes off injured list the pitching set up from before resets to how it was before player was injured.


So say my #1 Set Up pitcher is placed in MR1 spot. He gets injured MR 2-4 all move up 1 spot.

Once player comes off injured list the player goes back to MR1 and other pitchers move back to their MR2-4 spots

and they have too much money lying around paying people to sit and do nothing -
