While I think their AI is a large generational leap forward for the genre, releasing a DLC pack for 13 bucks while they still don't have an FOV slider, any way to run at 60FPS, nor any difference between "performance" and "quality" mode is a bit ridiculous.

Love racing the game, but I'd love it more if I could use it in cockpit mode without the windshield being a tiny sliver of screen space and the sides of the car completely cutting off (I race on triple screens on PC, where the car just literally clips out of the picture). Every game should have a FOV slider in this current generation of games.

Totally agree, DLC paint scheme prices are out of control IMO. No way I can justify paying that with so many other things that need improved upon.

Yup, let the nickle and dime-ing begin! Not sure how much they actually make off the continuous DLC they put out, but it'd be nice to see them take that money, but more importantly time and invest it in bringing this game up to 2019 standards. It's fun, but it's so far behind where it should be.

The pricing though for some artwork, is (as others have already stated) a bit crazy.

The good thing about this DLC though is it doesnt really ruin the experience if you don't buy it. It doesnt really have an impact on the game itself which is nice.

The only thing about that is it's included in the Gold edition. I'm sure most of us bought that edition. I think it helps the game less boring looking at the same cars. The upside is that hopefully this gives the 704 team more money to develop the features that we want.

I definitely want a FOV slider, 60 fps is a definite must next year. I honestly would like to see a crew chief mode where I get to make setups and make the decisions for the driver. NASCAR Manager mobile on steroids or even a Motorsport Manager type game.

I'm still on the fence about a purchase, but if I do it will be the Gold version, which has all of this stuff anyway.

Question though: Does the CPU even use the DLC paint schemes? I know they use the throwbacks at Darlington, but do they use the other schemes at random?

Honestly, I never really looked at the car's schemes that much. I race full races with everything on expert. I think the AI's difficulty is set to 103. I need to pay attention more to the surrounding cars. I'm just way too busy trying to save my tires until late in runs and I usually never qualify so I'm fighting with the back of the pack cars. I think that is why I've enjoyed the game more than most of my friends because I'm completely committed to the marathon races late at night.

Yeah, let me know when they release a 60 FPS Performance mode and an FOV slider DLC for the XBox One X, and I'll be hitting the "Buy" button as soon as it pops up!
