Hopefully somebody can say whether it be a game changer or something but if not, at least if it’s been brought up.

I like the way UD3 implemented fakes though. It wasn't a full on grand mal seizure. Instead, you could place a hand on a leg and hold it there, not letting the opponent know when you are actually going to pass. I think this would be a much better way to implement fakes.

Yeah this does sound better. The seizures people get into doing it, as you put it, is a bit ridiculous lol.

Its too early to even discuss anything like this.

Is it? Isn’t the game coming out in like 3-4 months? I know nothing official has said but just basing it off the past releases were usually early in the year.

It is. We arent permitted to comment on any features related to the game until EA announces the game and the specific feature. So if EA released a press release stating that UFC 4 has a new grappling system, we would be able to then discuss some of the details of that system. Until then, its too early and no one from the team (dev or GC) is going to speak on it.

FYI, there is no guarantee that the game is coming out in "3-4 months."

I really hope fakes/feints are a much larger part of UFC 4 ... especially clinch/ground.

Hard to say what that would look like of course But the more options, the better, whether that means Minor vs. Major transitions (EA MMA style); Improved "Strike to Pass, Pass to Strike" mechanics; more efficient fakes/counters/sweeps ---- or hopefully all of the above!

Cool. I wasn’t sure about the protocol on what you were allowed to discuss but that clears it up.
