Hello to all! As promised the next big update. The roster is actually finished now, you just have to check if everything is working properly and find small errors. This is now the last big update of the roster, the next big version will be the end of the beta As always, you can find detailed information in the updated parts. Have fun with it!

ITBEME23'S MADDEN 20 SIMULATION JAY87 ROSTER/SABO REVIVAL GAMEPLAY SLIDER SET Hey, everybody. Some of you may know me from the slider sets I have released on OS in the past for The Show and Madden, so I won’t bore you with another long introduction. What you should know about THIS slider set: 1. First and foremost, the set it stats-driven. 2. The set builds on ideas from other slider-creators like @Matt10 and @Armor&Swords, as well as many others who have contributed to the Madden slider community over the years. 3. These sliders, and the project as a whole, are intended to be a "bridge" experience until we find out if/when Madden 21 can be modded....or, to replace maden altogether. It's your call, but given the amount of time, effort, and commitment this project has already undertaken, I'm sure the final product would be a more than sufficient replacement for Madden 21. Most importantly - this slider set was created to be used in conjunction with Sabo's Revival Gameplay mod and TFG's/Jay87's re-rated roster. For those of you who are familiar with Sabo's mod, you know it is the best gameplay mod available for Madden 20. You should also be aware that Sabo suggests using his mod on All-Madden with default sliders. Obviously, we've deviated a bit from the prescribed approach with these sliders, but I am very excited about the results I've seen thus far. I would never release a slider set that I did not feel was true to simulation NFL football, both from a visual perspective, and more importantly, from a gameplay/statistical perspective. Although the set is still in Beta, I have been extremely encouraged by what I've seen on the field on all those fronts. Wherever possible, I have tried to stay at or as close to default as the set will allow. Here we go! Game Settings: Difficulty Level: ALL-PRO - Right off the bat, we have our first deviation. All-Madden, even with Sabo's mod, wasn't my cup of tea. I appreciate the challenge, but I've always felt All-Pro provided a more sim experience, which is why the set started from here. Game Style: Competitive Quarter Length: 13 Minutes Accelerated Clock: 15 Seconds - These work in conjunction with Fatigue and Auto Sub settings. Any deviation from these settings, and I will not be able to give feedback. Superstar Abilities: On Defensive Auto Strafe: Off Defensive Ball Hawk: On (Default) Defensive Heat Seeker: Off Defensive Switch Assist: Off Injuries: 40 (credit to Matt10) Fatigue: 70 - This value works in conjunction with Quarter Length, Accelerated Clock, and Auto Subs. To answer the common question off the bat: NO, I have not seen any cases of "disappearing players" at the end of games. This not only has to do with the Auto Sub settings, but also how you set up your sub packages in the depth charts. Player Speed Threshold: 48 - In my testing, this slider affects BIG PLAY ability for both User and CPU, as it creates more separation between offensive players and defenders. At default, the CPU seems to play much more conservatively. Lots of check downs, lower scores, less 3rd down conversions, less time of possession. At default, the CPU offense is nerfed (generally speaking). At 45, I noticed a trend of big plays by the CPU, both in the passing and running game. Most of their scoring comes from bombs in the passing game or breakout runs. While it's fun to watch, it leads to very high scoring games, and a lack of possession by the CPU (since a lot of their drives end up with quick scores). We're currently trying to find the sweet spot here, At 48, there is a much more even distribution of possession time, and if you blow pass coverage or miss a gap assignment, you will still get punished with a big play by the CPU. Gameplay Sliders (User/CPU) Passing QB Accuracy: 50/55 - Slight boost for the CPU QBs to consistently get their completion percentages in realistic ranges, as well as limit the amount of overly inaccurate throws. At 55, they will still miss their intended targets, but they are also capable of completing a few passes in a row. Pass Blocking: 60/60 - This was an area of focus of the set, as it seems like the Revival mod gave a big boost to pass rushers. We raised this to 60 just to keep the sack numbers down, but this value is not set in stone by any stretch. WR Catch: 55/55 - Saw an excessive amount of WR drops at default, likely because Pass Coverage was drastically improved in the Revival mod. Gave the WRs a boost, so they still have a chance of hauling in those difficult catches. Rushing Run Blocking: 50/68 - The main goal of this slider is to get RB YPC in realistic ranges. User averages are fine at default. CPU needed a significant boost here to be a consistent threat on the ground. The run game is important not only for rushing stats, but also for time of possession, which has an effect on drive lengths and fatigue. Fumbles: 15/15 - I can't figure out if fumbles have been completely nerfed because of the Revival mod OR because of Competitive mode. Either way, I've seen less than 5 fumbles in nearly 20 test games, which is just way too low of an occurrence for such an important facet of football. I'm in the process of figuring out the baseline value for this slider (where fumbles happen too much), so I can adjust from there. Defense Reaction Time: 50/50 Interceptions: 50/50 Pass Coverage: 50/50 - Although these values aren't 100% set in stone, I haven't found a reason to deviate from default as of yet. That's definitely a testament to the work Sabo did to pass coverage in the Revival mod. Tackling: 42/48 (credit to Matt10) - Basically, I didn't want to see one-hit wonders. I wanted to see some fighting for extra yard/falling forward animations, and I also wanted there to be a chance for broken tackles by the ball carrier. Special Teams: FG Power: 55/55 - Wanted to see some success of those long 55-58 yarders. At default, that just wasn't happening. FG Accuracy: 50/50 Punt Power: 50/50 Punt Accuracy: 50/50 Kickoff Power: 50/50 Penalties *NOTE* These values are designed to affect OCCURRENCES/FREQUENCIES of the penalty calls. They ARE NOT designed with the intention of affecting other aspects of gameplay. Offside: 75 False Start: 60 Holding: 50 Facemask: 60 Illegal Block in the Back: 50 Roughing the Passer: 50 Defensive P.I.: 60 Ineligible Receiver Downfield: On Offensive P.I.:On Kick Catch Interference: Off (credit to Matt10) Intentional Grounding: On Roughing the Kicker: On Running Into the Kicker: On House Rules - Offense - There are a couple of things I've picked up from reading different slider sets over the years, and I apologize for not remembering exactly whose idea this is. If you're reading, please feel free to PM me or Jay87, and we'll be sure to give you credit. 1. No User Catch - Let the player ratings determine if the receiver makes the catch. WRs are already getting a boost with the WR Catch slider at 55, so no need to give them more of an advantage by button-mashing. 2. Single-Button Playcalling - This has been a game-changer for me, because it prevents me from getting into patterns of repeatedly calling the same play. Basically, I select one button to use for all my plays for that drive. For example, if I select "A" for the first play of the drive, I use "A" for the entire drive. House Rules - Defense 1. No User Switch on Defense - I Player Lock to one player for the entire play. On run downs/formations, I'll typically play MLB. On pass downs, I'll play as a safety. It forces you to rely on the ratings of your CPU teammates to make plays on defense. 2. Automatic Playcalling - This is even more game-changing than my offensive playcalling approach. To prevent defensive playcalling patterns and/or the use of money plays, I allow the CPU to select my defensive play by allowing the 15 second Play Call Timer to elapse. I still make my defensive pre-play adjustments, but the play call itself is automatically selected. Definitely gives the feel of the D-Coordinator sending in the play on the field. - In the event you are getting torched by the CPU Offense using the playcalling method above, you can always switch to the single-button playcall method instead. I find that to be a happy-medium when I need to make some executive playcalling decisions. Final Notes - This set would not be possible without the roster work of ThatFranchiseGuy and Jay87, as well as the stellar gameplay mod by Sabo. Really, this slider set is only a minor complement to the major work that's already been done by these guys. Keep in mind, this slider set is designed to use both the TFG/Jay87 roster AND the Revival mod. I will not be able to give feedback if the sliders are not being used in conjunction with the required roster and gameplay mod. 100% NFL Mod Bundle incl. Sabo's Revival mod

Here is my first beta version of the XP sliders. These sliders were developed in 6 simulations over 12 years and are designed to get an stabil OVR over the time. I've also set it up so that players can also develop upwards. One thing I noticed last week has been confirmed. The experience drops very sharply on defaul settings. You can see how the OVR decreases with default settings. The fact that everything falls off in the 90+ area can also be seen well in the defaul settings. What you can now see with the slider settings at the end of the graphics is mainly due to the automatic draft classes, but there will also be a solution for this in the future. Just take a look at this. This sliders now have to be tested without simulation. You have a set here which works much better than the standard settings! Precise adjustments and further tests will be made as the beta progresses. The sliders are now preset in the franchise file Please note: In the first 6 years in the default settings, the interval is only 3 years. The number of players also varies, but is always specified. -- OFFENSE -- QUARTERBACK

I am impressed by the results. It looks like the ratings harmonize great with the mod. And after some tests with the mod I have to say that we have no problems with the contracts at all. If you notice anything, please report it, but since even Mahomes stayed with the Chiefs for over 10 years, even though I set 0 panalty in his contract (he has no 100% guaranteed bonus for many years, always date bonuses) I think there will be no problem with the other contracts. For Mahomes, I have linked a sheet here once, make the changes to his contract in the respective year as indicated there, to simulate his real contract Mahomes Contract Settings (2024-2029) I have now seen things with the whole setting that I would never have dreamed of in madden. Finally you don't have to write off your players from 30 years on. Some of them will remain an important player for years to come. I'll just put some pictures in here. -09/20- - Updated Ratings I am currently also in the process of making exact data comparisons of the TFG and EA ratings in order to be able to correctly rate new players 100%, of whom NO data is available from TFG. It is planned to update other ratings - especially those of rookies and top players - from the console version. Since my friend, who actually takes care of this, doesn't have the time right now, updates may take some time. If someone wants to help out here - I only need short videos of the roster/player of TFG's x-box roster. Especially the ratings of the rookies would interest me now, if he made any changes to them after the first games. I'm also looking on ebay to see if I can get a cheap xbox, but since it would be just for that it is a very big investment - Playbook Mod We are constantly working on it, stay tuned The following things are done OLD -09/06- The draft picks of the trades of the last few days may not be correct yet, is still being reviewed -08/30- There will be added many players that are currently missing. Which ones will be decided at the roster cut at the start of the season. Player lists have already been prepared by Itbeme23. You don't need to worry about missing players at this stage. We, and especially Itbeme23, will also check whether players are in the wrong team or injured. Here we also have a list which will be worked off in the next days. Also here it is not necessary to pay attention to it at the moment. I will take care of XP sliders next - after several simulations I noticed a decreasing level of experience over the whole league after several years. Many of these things, like the new draft picks, would not have been possible without his help or only with much more work. No.2 in the Mod Bundle (or single mod Download Facescan Mod 2020) The Facescans will only work with the Mod! no guarantee for a good look of the modified rookies if you don't use it. Using Sabo's AI Mod is strongly recommended. No.3 in the Mod Bundle. To change your team, just go to ' Options - User Management - Retire - Create A New Character '. The retired coach will be still in the game than, don't worry! You can get the roster on Madden Share ( 100percentNFLv0.95 ) and leave a like to support the roster or download it here. Download the Roster File (if you use the link here put the file in '\Documents\Madden NFL 20\settings'), go to 'Customize - Share & Manage Files - Load And Delete Files - Roster' and load the Roster, then go to 'Franchise - Cloud - Use Custom Roster' to start your Online Franchise or 'Franchise - Offline - Use Active Roster' if you want to start a new Offline Franchise. Andrew Luck must be removed. Sign him with the pats or another team with enough cap space, set spd, str, acc, agi & awr to 1, make him a punter and release him. He is somehow programmed into the game and is added when creating the franchise - if you look at the roster via "manage player" he is not there, also not found with any editor. There are some available, but with very bad contracts and others incorrect. This is how it looks now: I took the basic data from different existing ports (have no xbox or ps to see the roster there) and then I compared the data with the current DeepDive videos from TFG and corrected it to 100% (as far as possible, because not everything is visible all the time). All rookies now get portraits that were not taken in the game. I try to find similar looking pictures for every rookie. CJ Henderson just got his hair cut Fitting skin tone and face for everyone. And the equipment of every rookie is adapted to the original. Even for every Free Agent ! portraits are alpha status and may have changed Full realistic contracts with data from spotrac.com for every signed player

These are all things now that don't work on the console, of course, but we can do it here, so: Every player under contract has his official contract details. The yearly salery cap is 100% correct for every single year. Due to the Madden mechanics, it is of course not possible to display all bonus payments correctly. In the game the signing bonuses are listed as the bonus. Workout and rooster bonus are included in the salary. Right age for each player, right contract length for each player

Hey, y'all.
I'm super stoked to be a part of this project with Jay87. As I said in the OP, I'm fully confidently in this being the perfect replacement for the disaster that is Madden 21. Anyway, in regards to the sliders, I'm currently working through the Beta version of the set. So, instead of Jay87 uploading a new franchise file to the thread every time there is a slider change, I'm going to do something a bit different. Here is the link to the Google spreadsheet where I'm currently keeping all of my test data. There are three separate sheets. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing 1. Suggested "House Rules" for the set 2. Current version of the slider set (including color codes) 3. Penalty log (where I keep track of penalties on a per game basis) 4. Main game log (where all other pertinent gameplay stats are tracked) This is the first time I'm going to be sharing this link, but it's a lot easier than me doing game logs in the thread. Feel free to post questions and feedback here, and I'll respond accordingly! Cheers.

Does anyone know if it's possible get these revised ThatFranchiseGuy player ratings in a spreadsheet format somehow?
The old method of exporting through the M20 Companion App appears not to be an option anymore since EA has discontinued the app and (for obvious annoying reasons) are forcing us to use the M21 app ... which of course requires buying M21. |

The light does not contain the Portrait Mod, which only works with the Starttoday-FranchiseFile. With our Roster or Franchise File you already have everything there. Also the Facescan mod is missing, but there might be something included in a later Mod Bundle. That will come in a later phase.
With the franchise editor you should be able to do that. You can export tables to an excel format. I'll write a little bit more about it tomorrow, already 4 am here in germany now. By the way, new version 0.901 (Mod Bundle, Roster & Franchise) is online, check it out and have fun with it!
