Special move tips?

Good morning,

I've noticed that the spins and juke moves are not really effective. They seem weak. Is there something I'm missing (modifier button) or is it just the particular players I'm using don't have a high rating in the area?

Steer the moves with the left stick while you do the move, it helps.

If you pull R2 / RT while moving the right stick to juke or pressing Circle / B to spin, you will perform a more dramatic version of the move.

Double jukes are really effective for me. Spin move doesn't seem reliable.

You have to do them a little earlier than you think, IME. If you wait to start the move until they are right on you, it will pull you into the tackle animation.

Also, you'll have better results in the open field if you strategically let off sprint and turn with the left stick alone. The jukes tend to bring you nearly to a stop and you'll get caught from behind.
