We are 2 days away from SECCG Version 2, and I have this fear that it will look a lot like version 1.

Both teams dominated their opponents in the semi-finals, and honestly both teams should have done that because they are just much more talented than either Cincinnati or Michigan.

That won't be the case for either team on Monday with the total number of 4 and 5 stars being pretty even. Unfortunately, where things aren't even is at the most important position. Alabama has the Heisman winner at QB whereas UGA has a walkon.

I have a hard time believing that Georgia has been able to fix the weakness in the secondary that was there all season, which got completely exposed in the SECCG, in 1 month.

as a Crimson Tide fan, my biggest fear is Kirby gets Smart and uses Saban's strategy from the 2017/18 NC game, and changes QB's at the half. I think JT has to be in at the end because I just don't see Spencer beating Bama

I can't get the Forest matchup out of my head. UGA has looked like the favorite every week outside of the time they actually played Bama. Their defense looks much better, they look to have the offensive talent to match Bama except for the QB spot and that killed them the first go around.

Bennet looks like a game manager, someone that would have fit in on a Bama team from the early Saban years. I don't think that is enough to win in today's CFB world. It will get you through a season, but winning it all you need a guy that can sling it around against a defense full of talent and I think UGA has that, he just isn't starting.

Maybe the UGA defense slows down Bama this time around, but I think the real key to the game is will UGA get the play out of the QB spot they need to allow their offense to match whatever Bama does tonight. If so, we will have a good game on our hands. If not, I think Bama wins and it doesn't come down to the final minute, unfortunately.
