Yeah, I found that out the hard way a couple years ago. I was doing streaming of my shortstop RTTS and had menu music still enabled. While streaming live, all audio played normal. As soon as I went back to look up something in the VOD, the entire video was muted, all 2 hours was muted because of a couple minutes of music in the menus in between games.

These days I don't care anymore because I don't have the time, patience or memory to do live streaming while playing games, so I just roll with the licensed music enabled, but back then, I certainly learned the hard way.

I mean it's obvious that the custom sounds don't get recorded if doing the recording directly through the PS4 and I'm aware that I could use a capture card on my PC, but the big / strange thing is that none of the default music gets recorded either. No intro music, or walk ups, no nothing... So if I was to upload a video to the net or just simply go back and watch my old games, in which I do both, there is just so much audio missing that it really takes away from the spirit of baseball.

I think it’s probably just way easier for SDS to block all the audio. I know that sucks but I seriously doubt that music playing during video capture is very high on their priority list.

Also, just so you know how dumb YouTube is when it comes to copy written material... I made a short MLB 18 video with the custom sounds and privately uploaded that same video 2 different times, one time it was blocked world wide for a particular song and the second time while viewable, monetization wasn't allowed, but for a completely different song.
