Welcome back to another incredible year of Sounds of the Show for MLB The Show 21!

Q: What are these packs you speak of?
A: All packs will be listed below and marked as PRESEASON or REGULAR SEASON. Since we use Google Drive, preseason files will be overwritten by the season files as we finish the packs. Once marked as REGULAR SEASON, the PRESEASON files will no longer be available to download.

Q: What is the difference between the preseason packs and the regular season packs?
A: I'm glad you asked. The preseason packs and season packs contain walk up music, pitcher entrance music, network theme music and stadium sounds for all teams and most of the players on MLB rosters. The preseason packs are compiled of the last known music from the previous year and reorganized for roster changes this year. The purpose of this is so that fans have packs to use when the game releases with no need to wait for the regular season packs before they can enjoy SOTS. The regular season packs are compiled of all the sounds that teams or players use for the current year. They are completed as we get information from community research. We appreciate any info posted in the thread. Because the regular season packs are reliant on research, they take more time. All teams are usually done within the first month of the season depending entirely on our time and the info we receive from you, the fans. Without everyone here on these forums, these packs would take twice the time.

Q: Will the packs be updated as the season goes on and players change music?
A: Obviously the preseason packs are final once the regular season starts. We do not make any changes to them. We plan on updating the packs with at least two major updates, an All-Star Break update, and an End of Season update. We will also provide smaller updates as the season progresses, we are asking for help from the community to view posts here and update a spreadsheet with the new info. This will speed the process up allowing us to get the smaller updates out a bit easier. Contact me to if you would like to help with this.

Q: How can I help?
A: See the previous question. We ask the OS community for as much help as possible each year. With MLB The Show 21 coming to XBox for the first time, we should see some new blood to our already awesome community. Walk-ups and Pitcher Entrances with start times are incredibly helpful and always welcome, especially for the teams who don't see a whole lot of love. As for track creation help, I have a very strict requirement that files follow a specific format. Timing on tracks is EVERYTHING and having them run at different marks or running too long is not acceptable. It's not enjoyable when one team is completely different than all the others. I also have logos created for the tracks as I do every year that will need to be added to each file. If we all follow the same format, it makes inputting the files into SOTS much easier. Please remember we do these packs for free and they are incredibly time consuming so please be respectful and patient. Big thanks to BU1B22 who has done tons of research the previous seasons with one hand on his TV remote and the other on Shazam. It really is brutal and his work is incredible. Huge thanks to CujoMatty for getting together 5 years ago and starting SOTS back up and hopefully we can see you drop back in the mix. This year I will be handling both the NL and the AL. Thanks as always to the wonderfully marvelous OS community for their appreciation and suggestions.

Sorry, Google made some changes to the way they do things so I had to correct the link. Should be all set now. Diamondbacks are done. Going to try to get the Cubbies and the Marlins up next.

Are these preseason files the same as the ones used last year as place holders until you receive current info on stuff being used this year?

I have all jays info from 2020 except for Gurriel and Merryweather if someone can get those songs I can help towards their preseason pack

Anyone else able to import the Yankees but not able to use them in MLB 20 The Show? I am on PS4 Pro. When I assign them or even preview them in editor, they do not play anything.
