Ahhh... it was defaulting to a different Xbox Store. I reloaded and it worked fine. Hope I don't get the error code. Thanks for the heads up!

Game is now available on Steam, $29.99. Think that's going to be my platform of choice since I'll be able to play with both the XBone and PS4 playerbases. Plus it apparently runs on a toaster so even my aging PC should be fine.

If you owned SMB1 on Steam, you get a 15% discount automatically applied to your purchase!

There's also a leadoff bundle that includes the game and DLC at 10% off.

I don't think I got a discount this morning and I definitely own the first game on steam. I am not going to worry much about $4.50 but that would have paid for one of the DLCs.

Played a few innings, have to say I'm a little disappointed in the performance, at least on my low end work PC.* It's still a fun game, but it definitely seems to slow down quite a bit when the ball is in play.* Going to bring my controller in later to give it another shot, the reticle really struggles to keep up with my mouse.

Anyone else playing with a mediocre PC, and if so do you have any suggestions on optimizing?* I hate to think about lowering the resolution.

Today's the day! I played one quick 5 inning game last night on 30 Ego and it was pretty fun! I really love the pace of play it's so quick. But today before work I'm going to get to making my league of teams. I'm super excited!!
