For the one who mentioned that there wasn't enough tension... if you were surprised by the GTS, then it still did its job. It didn't make sense for Punk to be lying on the ground there any way. He countered a Stunner... and then Austin got up from the GTS in seconds just like Punk did earlier with the Stunner. I think I will be turning up the effectiveness of finishers.

If they programmed so you don't always get up, then people would wonder why they are stuck lying in the ring when they have health or whatever. I guess they had what they had in No Mercy where if you were down, you could hold a button and stay down, but doesn't seem necessary. People seem to forget this is a game for a scripted sport.

Something else I'd like to see fixed is that every time someone is thrown over the ropes, they hold on and then you have to knock them over. More often than not, if someone is thrown over the top, they just fall to the floor.
Punk didn't even go for the pin after the first gts. It was poor AI. It only makes sense for him not to go for a pin if he's selling being exhausted or hurt, either by falling down for a double 10 count, or leaning against the ropes, or something. This series has had some issues with pacing and AI, and that video didnt exactly allay those fears for me.

What price difference? They price match. You get it for $47 at Best Buy, probably need the ad though.

You're right. Didn't even think of that.

Re: WWE 12 Retail Impressions

Do you have to go to the customer service desk to price match at Best Buy or can I just use the regular checkout?

Best Buy will make it an either or option. You can either get it for the price matched price of $47 or get the free dvd. They won't give you both. I use to work at one so I know that's how it works.

Bump! It's a really good and interesting question.

Also, how does it feel fight against an high-flyer(JoMo,Evan Bourne,Sin Cara...)???
Do they run,fly from turnbuckle and use springboard moves enough???

Re: WWE 12 Retail Impressions

Amazon just shipped mine and it will be here Wednesday according to them. So much for not getting here until the 29th, but I wish I would've had time to change it to release day shipping.

On a related note, how do I cancel my gamestop order? I placed an order online to pick it up in store, do I have to give my store a call or can I do it online?
