Re: WWE Off-Topic

You'd think with smaller rosters on each show they'd realize that maybe they don't need a PPV for each brand every month, but oh well.

It's not like it's a necessity just to ensure the champions defend once a month, since they have no problem booking title matches on TV with little or no notice. They could do a Super Raw or Smackdown on the months that each brand doesn't have a PPV.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

I would LOVE to see just 4 PPV per brand and 4 megashows (WM, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series)

Dunno what you'd do with Royal Rumble though.

I would have zero PPVs between RR and WM, but I'm crazy like that.

I mean it's only a month or so between the two so it could work.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

I'd have a PPV before WM, but make it brand specific. Whichever brand the rumble winner DOESN'T choose to challenge their champion, gets that PPV, and main event of the PPV is the #1 contenders match to see who faces that brands champion at WM.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

I like the two ppvs a month. If they truly are going to compete that's a big part of why the last brand extension failed. The two month gap was impossible for the writers to book for. So then they went back to combo shows every month. Now it's just another bonus for having the wwe network too. I really think they are trying their best to recreate what made wrestling so popular in the Monday night wars. It's a great time to be a wrestling fan imo
