What I Feel Should Happen Leading Up to Mania

At Royal Rumble:

Cm Punk def. The Rock after the Shield attack Rock. Cena wins the Rumble. Del Rio def. Show

The following Raw, Vince comes out says The Shield has saved Punk from losing his title for the last time. At Elimination Chamber The Rock will face CM Punk in a rematch and if anyone interferes to help Punk he loses his title. The Sheild will face Orton,Ryback, and Sheamus in the Chamber. The first team that has all three members pinned loses.

At Elimination Chamber:

Ziggler cashes in his MITB after the Smackdown Chamber match becoming the new champ, says he wants Cena at Mania.

Sheamus is the first pinned in the other chamber match. Orton is next out and the Shield works him over. Ryback is the last released and goes to town on members of the Shield throwing them all over the chamber. Just as it looks like Ryback is going to win it for his team Orton RKO's him out of nowhere allowing The Sheild to pick up the win.

The Rock def. CM Punk...there will be a Rubber Match at Mania.

The following Raw Cena accepts Ziggler's challenge for a match at Mania. Triple H comes out and calls out Brock Lesnar saying they have unfinished business. Lesnar comes out and says he has already taken out the king of kings and he's not gonna waste his time doing so again. The exchange gets heated and Lesnar attacks Triple H. The lights go out and when the come back on Taker is in the ring and choke slams Lesnar. The following Raw Lesnar comes out and says that he realized he still had one thing he had yet to accomplish in the WWE and that was to end Taker's streak at Mania.

At Mania:

Punk v. Rock...The Rock wins again...vacates the title the following Raw.
Cena v. Ziggler...Ziggler wins
Orton v. Ryback...Ryback destroys Orton/ The Sheild when they try to interfere...finally.
Lesnar v. Taker...Taker wins after Triple H hits Lesnar with the sledge hammer while the ref is down and pulls Taker on top for the win.

All are alright and plausible options. However I don't want to see Ziggler/Cena at WM, that's pretty long to continue a feud that seems to basically be winding down currently.

I think we'll see Cena win the RR, then face Rock at WM for the title. Lesnar/HHH seems like a lock given how it was played off after their first match. The rest I have no idea, they could turn my Cena/Rock idea into a triple threat. Orton winning the RR could be a viable option as well in terms of that title and if he does get a heel turn anytime soon.

Well considering Cena/Ziggler have only met at one PPV and wouldn't meet in another until Mania, I don't think it would be dragging it too far really. Look at how far they have dragged the Ryback/Punk fued. In any case, I know all this is unlikely to happen.

I like all that except the rock vacating the title. It would be more of the rock just wasting the time everyone is putting into their career. He needs to wrestle more. Bring back heel rock eventually.

I'm not going to bother with my own fantasy booking because this guy already did it better.

A bleacher report article that I actually approved of?!?!

HHH/Orton vs. Shield idea intrigues the hell out of me.

I wasn't a huge fan of the booking overall though I did like some of it.

I don't like triple threat matches for the WWE title and Brock getting tossed into Rock-Cena just seems random as hell. Also, Brock was never the face of the WWE in any era.

Punk-Taker is not a novel idea but definitely one I would get behind. If for no other reason, I think Punk would have a shot at snapping the streak. I also like the reason Rizzuti gave. Simple enough and makes sense.

Triple H and Randy vs. the Shield is also something I'm not interested in. The Shield already beat three guys in Team Hell No and Ryback, so facing two seems like a step back. Also, their was no good story given behind H's return, his recruiting Orton, or the Shield attacking him (though I guess that's part of their gimmick). Now the Shield vs. Orton, Triple H, and Batista is something I could get behind, but I have no idea what's up with Dave as I don't read dirt sheets. Last I knew he was tiny and doing MMA stuff.

Ziggler vs. Bryan... awesome on paper. As it's written, there'd be very little buildup and if they're going to do it I'd rather see Ziggler vs. Bryan be for the first time at Mania and not an EC rematch (though the cash-in would only be a match in the most technical of terms). PLUS, it would take away from my dream of having the showoff steal the biggest show of them all and be the first and only superstar to cash-in MITB at Mania. He'd get so much mileage off of that, that I think it'd be better booking long term.

Rhodes Scholars vs. Mysterio and Cara is whatever. We've seen it a bunch. However, it would be the only logical choice (aside from Berto and Ricardo) given the rest of his card.

Ryback vs. Big Show I can get behind, and agree with all the reasons stated. Ryback killed some of his own momentum injuring Punk. Perfect way to get some of it back.

MITB makes no sense, especially since it has it's own PPV. Plus there's only one match? So is the briefcase back to being for both belts? Will the MITB PPV have a red and a blue case and Mania throw a third one in the mix? I'm confused at that one.

They was speculation they might add the MITB match(s) to Mania last year. Personally I think I think the breifcases should be for ANY championship. That way it adds alot more unpredictablity to it. It would be way cooler if Ziggler cashed in on Cena after beating the Rock at Mania rather than Del Rio or Orton.
