WWE Payback - June 1st, 2014

If I were WWE, I'd be desperately trying to get some sort of angle happening involving the Hawks game. Obviously it can't/won't involve the game itself, but they need to get someone down there inside the arena to do some promo during intermission(from their seat for the WWE camera,not for fans in attendance at the game),or at the very least,right outside the Hawks arena before gametime!

How often does WWE have an event in the same city on the same night of such a huge game as this? Might be one of(if not the) first time ever!

lol,imagine if during intermission of Hawks game,they suddenly had CM Punk there lol. Then WWE tron switches to feed of Hawks arena with CM Punk.

I do think the crowd will be extremely distracted watching the score of the hawks game. I know a lot of people who have tickets to Payback who are wishing they didn't buy it now, partially because the show isn't looking very good on paper, but mostly because they just want to watch the hawks game.

This card seems terrible and even with WWE Network, I'm not sure I will watch.

We've already seen the two main events just last month. The rest of the card you could catch on RAW, Smackdown or even Main Event.

And they're in the same city as the Blackhawks game on the same night as a game 7? Huge financial woes, their top star is injured...they just can't catch a break lately.

I paid $60 for this sole reason so I'm watching, plus I feel like with such a positive buzz around the NXT event they can't get one uppd
