Brock Lesnar signs new deal with WWE

I don't know how to embed tweets. But WWE's official Twitter account has posted moments ago that Brock has signed a new deal and will defend his title against Roman Reigns at the "Greatest Royal Rumble."

I called this like 4/5 days ago on Twitter. I started thinking back to WM 20, when Lesnar and Goldberg were both boo’d out of the building because everyone knew they were leaving, and that was back in the day where you still kind of had to dig to find dirt sheets. So when I saw Dana say he was confident that Brock was coming back to UFC and then remembered that they actually talked about Lesnar and Dana meeting up the weekend of Elimination Chamber on TV, I knew for sure he was going to re-sign. And Vince is going to throw a bone to Dana whenever Jon Jones is done with his USADA suspension and allow Brock to have that fight like he did last year or in 16 with Mark Hunt.

The crazy thing is that we'll see Brock Lesner wrestler twice in one month! This was a terrible re-signing. You can't promote what isn't around to promote. Sad part is, when I hear someone say WWE title, I immediately think AJ Styles and completely forget RAW even has a championship.

I mean, I'm sure there are plenty of people like me who, while mostly lapsed WWE fans, still tune in to events featuring Brock Lesnar at the top of the card because watching a real-life dinosaur play demolition derby with the rest of the roster is still entertaining on a primal level.

In that sense, Brock is still plenty worth the money and still a top draw.
