I think so. Isn't Ernie Johnson contracted for stuff like that too?

But anytime I think TNT, I think NBA/Inside the NBA. Will suck seeing them lose those rights.

Re: AEW Off-Topic

AEW is moving All Out to September 7th instead.

I like that for a bunch of reasons.

1. It's not as close to All IN (which is a big reason they're moving it)

2. It's not during labour day weekend where people are probably busier anyways

3. The new date is a Saturday. I don't get why AEW doesn't look for more Saturday PPVs when they're seeing WWE having huge success simply from a day swap. For AEW especially where your shows are PPVs, try it on Saturday where more people might be able/willing to watch either the day of or even just next day.

Re: AEW Off-Topic

Since AEW PPV lengths and the amount of matches are a talking point, I wanted to share some research that I did for a video on my YouTube channel. Going back to the start of 2023, the magic number seems to be 8 to 10 matches per card. Counting the preshow matches, in some cases the total number of matches jumped to as high as 14 matches which saw a tie between Forbidden Door & WrestleDream last year.

AEW Double or Nothing this Sunday is currently at 9 matches, with no preshow matches announced so far. Which is seemingly where the extra fluff comes from, you see a match card has 8 matches but 3 Preshow matches. Forbidden Door 2023 had 5 preshow matches along with the 9 scheduled matches on the actual PPV. The preshow has multiple matches that are already draining the crowd even before the show begins. So when you get through some of the amazing matches on the actual PPV, and realize you still got a few more matches left, this is why.

2023 AEW PPV Cards
AEW Revolution 2023 - 8 Matches (9 Total)

Double or Nothing 2023 - 9 Matches (10 Total)

Forbidden Door 2023 - 9 Matches (14 Total)

All In 2023 - 9 Matches (11 Total)

All Out 2023 - 10 Matches (13 Total)

WrestleDream 2023 - 10 Matches (14 Total)

Full Gear 2023 - 8 Matches (11 Total)

World Ends 2023 - 10 Matches (13 Total)

2024 AEW PPV Match Cards
AEW Revolution 2024 - 9 Matches (11 Total)

AEW Dynasty 2024 - 9 Matches (12 Total)

AEW Double or Nothing 2024 - 9 Matches*

Winners of the Owen Cup will get world title shots at All In.

That was one of my knocks on WWE, even to this day.

Having a pre show like Main Event, Superstars, 205 Live or whatever it was, having 30 mins of that before a show, especially a 3 hour Raw, that drains the crowd.

AEW having one or two matches before a PPV that's going 3-4 hours isn't helping crowds by the end either.

Re: AEW Off-Topic

There's been enough talk.... it's time for Mark Henry to leave AEW. Henry announced that he and AEW have mutually parted ways as his contract ends on the 28th.

Would not surprise me if Triple H brings him in as a Coach at the PC and on a Legends ccontract.

A coach/scout would be good.

Wasn't he the one who scouted/recruited Bianca, or was it someone else?

And I imagine he worked with Jade in AEW.

I wonder if Big Shows deal is up soon too. They could use a "big man coach" as well. Sucks guys like Dabba Kato and Omos didn't pan out because those guys passed the "airport test". Now a guy like Oba hopefully doesn't suffer the same fate.

I believe he scouted both Bianca and Jade, Jade had a tryout with WWE in 2019 but declined the contract. Then AEW started up later that year and she signed with them. I can see Big Show coming back too, just surprised TK doesn't offer them recruiting roles as it would serve AEW quite well to start finding their own talent to develop and not just rely on WWE free agents.
