There was no reason to ever expect them in the first place, for some of the exact reasons you laid out here. Why those reasons didn't occur to people before the show is beyond me.

"Raw After Mania" hasn't really been a big thing since WWE started promoting it as a thing. No point in setting expectations higher than any normal Raw.

I thought it was a pretty good episode, the show moved quickly. I’m fine with the bait and switch but I would have used Bryan and Rowan instead of the bar. The bar has no reason to interrupt that match, you could have Bryan interfere to make sure the title stays on smackdown so he can win it back
