Announcing water for a swimming pool.
This started my day with a good laugh

Re: WWE 2K17 Roster Reveal Set for E3, June 14th-16th

I don't want to be a downer and I know the game is far off, but this is another 2k disappointment. I haven't played a wwe game in years, but 2 years ago I fell into the hype of buying the digital deluxe version. It wasn't worth the $80 or so price. I chalked it up to a new game/system/developer. I bought last years on disc to trade back like I do yearly sports titles. I just felt underwhelmed with the game again and felt nickeled and dimed into the season pass to get more wrestlers. Then to hype up a big roster reveal with warrior who's been there for 2 years, a guy who's the face of the company for a decade and moving forward and a lady who was scanned, but left out of the game totally. I'm worried the brand split won't be a factor and it's something I'll have to edit myself. I'll probably buy the game and the pass again, but I'm very weary...especially with the quality of caw you can download for free.

I don't think many people here would disgree with you. I'd say coming out this weak at E3 tells you all you need to know about how 2K sees the WWE games.

But 2k never announce stuff at E3, there was a thread on the NBA 2k section about it too, and it's been like that for a few tears now, they usually talk about their games at Gamescom since it's much closer to the finish product. WWE 2k15 was horrible, yes, but 2k16 is almost the perfect current gen WWE gaming experience - beautiful graphics, great gameplay (IMO), much better creation suite with the face capture thing, and MyCareer to top it all off. And I know the submission system isn't what we want, there are many glitches still, no story creator and a dull universe mode. But from my experience with 2k in the NBA Series, WWE 2k16 is very similar to what NBA 2k15 was: a great base to an incredible game (NBA 2k16), so I believe WWE 2k17 can be the best WWE game in a long time.

I'm not saying details. I know 2K holds that stuff as late as possible.

I'm saying confirming a guy who has been in every game since Here Comes the Pain as part of their E3 announcement is weak.

Agree. I'm surprised anything was revealed at all during E3. Normally EA sports has the only sports games shown.

Sports gaming maniac. DC Comics, WWE, 2k sports, Sports, and movies are kind of my thang.

It's probably for the casual fans, since John Cena is much more of a draw than Shinsuke Nakamura for example.

I hope you're right. I guess I've been slightly disappointed so far and I was burned with nhl the past few years too. I'll probably get it and be forced into preorder for Goldberg.
